Description Remote-controlled Centipede
Not only in Pokémon do crawling animals have their fans, but also out in the real world there are many enthusiasts for centipedes, especially for tropical Scolopendra species, as these can get particularly large.
Skolopenders are very aggressive, fast, and agile. They easily escape from terrariums, and therefore keeping them is not for the inexperienced. Additionally, you should never touch them with your bare hands, as they actively defend themselves and their venomous bite has several side effects. In extreme cases, it can even be fatal.
You still think centipedes are great? We recommend you start with the remote-controlled centipede available here ;) The rusty brown coloration with dark brown to black bands is typical for the Scolopendra Hardwickei. It originates from the islands off India and is therefore often called the 'Indian Tiger'.
The replica you see in the product images is about 40cm long and is controlled via infrared signal using a remote control. While the harmless centipede runs around, its rear end rattles and its eyes glow in a fearsome red. Almost more frightening than the real ones... ;)
